Jana Kramer is a country performer, singer and songwriter that made her name known in the world of television after she was cast as Alex on One Tree Hill for the season that ended in the. The show showcased her first albums as country music which helped her debut album on the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One, her follow-up album released in 2015, made it to in the Top Ten. Her decade ended with appearances for Dancing with the Stars and in several TV movies alongside a series of non-album singles. The self-doubting Voices saw release in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native that was raised in the country genre. Though she had a recording and acting career but her first screen appearance came in the independent horror movie Dead/Undead (2002) when she was still at high school. Through the years, she appeared on several series, including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the part of Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights in the second season (2007-2008). Kramer would go on to appear as Portia Ranson in 90210 (2008-2009) as well as Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009) prior to when she was cast in One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until the halfway point of its final season (2012). Jana Kramer Kramer began her career as a performer on One Tree Hill in 2011. The actress signed a contract to Elektra Records during this time and released the country-rock song "I I Won't Let You Go" in the show's episode. She continued acting in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would appeal to her fans. Kramer's second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15, 2015. It received a boost from her Top Five country song I Got the Boy as well in a duet featuring Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album climbed to number 3 on the Billboard 200 country charts and at number 10 on the Billboard 200. Two months on Dancing with the Stars 23rd season ended in her placing fourth. The singer also had an adult contemporary hit with the song Feels like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
